Believers Must Increase their Ibadah

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

In this year, we have been through tough times..

Corona virus, flood, poverty, lose job, and many things. Do we understand that, It is a signal from Allah, that we should turn back to Him?
I am a sinner and I  am writing this, not because I am a pious person, but, we are muslims and it is our obligation to remind each other especially about our deen.

Back to the topic,

We are now facing social distancing which is we are not allowed to go outside if it's not needed, even we work from home, school from home, and ibadah from home. Now, cause everything we do at home, it is easy for us to make  alternation within ourselves. I mean, because we are at home, we can make ourselves nearer to our Creator, knowing Him, and make Him loves us in many ways.

These ways i call it as "Increasing our Ibadah."
I am not telling you for doing 5 daily prayers as voluntary ibadah because it's the standar of a muslim. That's obligation. A muslim should pray 5 times a day, and if there is someone who still misses it then I hope, Allah will open your heart to guide you to commit 5 daily prayers, Aamiin...
So, let's talk about increasing ibadah.

First, Shalat sunna Rawatib

Shalatul sunna rawatib is salat that is done before and or after obligation prayer.

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

"Whoever does not leave twelve (12) rakaats on rawatiba sunnah prayers, then Allah will awaken him home in heaven, (ie): four rak'ahs before dzuhur, and two rak'ahs afterwards, and two rak'ahs after after sunset, and two rak'ahs after 'evening, and two rak'ahs before dawn ". (Narrated by At-Tarmidzi no. 414, An-Nasa’i no. 1794)

Second, Read Qur'an

Qur'an is a guidance for muslims. And  qur'an is a beautiful revelation that has been sent to our prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him).

Allah says about qur'an that:

"Verily in that there truly is a warning to those who have hearts or who use their hearing, he is witnessing it." (Qaaf / 50 verse 37-)"

Third, Tahajjud and Witr

It's beautiful when we wake up in the middle of the night only to talk to Him, ask His forgiveness and ask everything that we want in this life even in the hereafter. Talking to Him about our lives, tell our problems to Him, and pour everything out in front of Him and cry in front of Him. Isn't it beautiful?

There is one authentic hadith which says that Allah ﷻ descends to the heavens of the world every last third of the night. The hadith is:

Our Almighty and Most High God descends every night into the sky of the world when there has been one third of the last night remaining. He said: Whoever prays to me, then I will grant it, Whoever asks me, then I will give it. Whoever begs for mercy on me, I will forgive you.

(Narrated by Bukhari-Muslim)

Isn't it beautiful?
May Allah make us among those who is easy to wake up in the middle of the night only to meet our Lord (Ibadah). Aamiin

So, that's it but actually so  many things that we can do to increase our ibadah, like learn our deen, pondering qur'an, etc
I will end up this post, May Allah let us increasing our ibadah and may it only pure to Allah.

Salam ...
