Be a Light in This World

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

As the picture above, it says "Be a light in this world" means that be a source of someone's happiness. Why we have to be a source of happiness for people? It is because by being a source of someone’s happiness, can make us happy too and not only that, happiness that we share or being a caused of someone's happiness will make this world even feel better and in Islam we know that making someone happy is something that Allah loves.

Hadith history of Ibn Abbas RA states that His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

"Indeed, Allah's most beloved charity after doing the obligatory things is to please other Muslims."

Making someone's happy actually is very easy, you can just saying something good to them and listen them while they are sharing their story. While you have a friend and she is in sad, you need to cheer her up by making her day whole again by listening her problems and motivate or even better, you can give a solution to her.

And you know, if you are someone that very talkative and always happy, you are a source of happiness. I have a friend, she is very talkative, funny and always looks happy and everytime I see her, I see her as a someone who brings energy to us. Alhamdulillah...

Making someone's happy also can be done with appreciate what they do, motivate her works, and you bring her close to Allah. Cause indeed, happiness in this world is very temporary and true happiness only can we get while we are close to Allah, while we knows Him better.

While we know Him better, every calamity that we feel, every sadness that comes, will only vanish once we are reflecting all circumtances to Allah alone. I mean, while we are sad,  we can reflect it as it is Allah who is generous to me cause He gives me sadness for erase my sins. And after that we can just feel calm and peace again cause everything that we feel, everything that happens, it is by the permission of Allah we just need to TRUST Him and take it easy cause whatever happens, Allah will take care of us.

May Allah make us among those who bring happiness in someone's life. Aamiin
